What she does:
Trevino oversees complicated rules and regulations that govern the transportation agency, ensuring METRO meets its responsibilities and follows the law. The law touches the agency in many ways, from governing delivery of services and fair treatment of employees to customer service and safety.
How she got her start:
Trevino began her career at METRO in 1997 as Senior Staff Counsel, managing the agency’s personal injury docket, providing legal advice on construction contract disputes and other legal issues. She became deputy general counsel in 2006 and led the Real Estate Department from June 2009 to February 2010. Prior to becoming General Counsel for METRO, Trevino worked in private practice, both independently and with the firm of Callier & Garza.
