Click  “Housing Application

Step II

Use your log-in for your My TSU web.

Example: John Doe (T00001234): j.doe1234
John Doe’s birth date is 01/01/1988: Initial Password = Q!01011988

Click “Application”

Step IV
Choose the term


Step V
Proceed to the application


Step VI
Pay your $350 application and reservation fee (Refund Policy below)

$300 of the total will be refunded if, the student submitted an cancellation request before or on July 15th for the Fall 2014 academic semester and December 15th for the Spring 2015 academic semester

$300 of the total will be refunded if, the student is NOT officially admitted into Texas Southern University

Complete steps 3-11 on the application

Receive confirmation

Step IX
Funding Verification (72 hour process)

All students are required to pay 70% of total residential room and board cost either through Financial Aid or other means before receiving admittance into Residential Life & Housing at TSU. Estimates will be based on the student taking 15 hours.

Step X:
Status Letter and Checklist

Student will be notified via email of any outstanding obligations that must be completed before Step XI.

Step XI:
Room Selection

The student will be notified via email that the StarRez portal is available for room selection.

Step XII:
Lease and Meal Plan Contract

Student will electronically sign their lease contract and be given confirmation number

Express Check-In

A certificate will be emailed to all students who have completed the application process and are given “express status” on move-in date.
