Laundry Service
The Product
Laundry Alert is an online machine-monitoring system that lets students check the availability of washers and dryers from their PCs through a customized website. They can receive notification by computer, cell phone or wireless PDA when their wash is done, or when the numbers of requested machines become available.
Benefits
To Students - No more lugging dirty clothes only to find that machines are in use
or out of order. No need to hang around the laundry room while doing, or waiting to
do laundry. Hourly usage reports help students make the best use of their valuable
time by time use of their valuable time doing laundry when the room is least active.
And to help ensure the safety of personal information, they can use the system without
registering their names or email addresses.
To Schools - The system often increases laundry room usage and revenue. It can detect when a machine is down, and automatically generate a service request through our on-line monitoring service reporting system; this way schools can capture over 75% of service reports automatically. Most service upgrades can be made remotely. And a premium amenity like this helps attract and retain student residents, who instantly appreciate the convenience this technology provides.
The Laundy Alert Difference
Laundry Alert is installed at over 100 colleges and universities; no other system
is user-friendly or offers as many useful features. Our internal Research & Development
department’s commitment to providing the best possible product enables us to offer
the system best suited to needs of students and administrators. Residential laundry
