The Honorable Marilyn A. Rose, Houston, TX 

Regent Marilyn A. Rose is a Certified Public Accountant and a Registered Texas Assessor Collector. She has over five years of audit experience in the Public Accountant Firm (Price Waterhouse now Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Deloitte & Touche). She is currently employed at the Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Office in the Quality Control Department as an Internal Auditor.

In early 2000, Ms. Rose started a Company, Rose Pinnock LLC offering Accounting and Business Consulting Services. The Company was later renamed LM Rose Consulting Group LLC.  

She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. She is a Board Member of the Texas Organization of Youth Sports, and a former Board Member of the Lupus Foundation of America, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. Regent

Rose holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Southern University.

She is married to Lynden Rose and they have three children, Lynden Jr., Lynnard and Madelyn. They are members of Second Baptist Church.
