importanmt to us that ypou get clear, concise and accurate responses to these questions.

Where is the University Counseling Center (UCC)? The University Counseling Center is located inside the Student Health Center.
What are the hours of the UCC? The UCC is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. If it is an emergency after business
hours, call 911. If you or a friend is experiencing a non-emergency crisis after business
hours, you may call 713-313- 7863.
How much does it cost see a counselor or psychiatrist at the UCC? Services at the UCC are including in your student fees, therefore, there is no additional
cost to you to use our services.
How do I schedule an appointment? Call the University Counseling Center at 713-313-7804 to set up a free appointment.
Will the things we discuss be a part of my student record? Will it be shared with
parents, teachers, friends, etc? No! Confidentiality is very important to us. Unless you plan on harming yourself or
others, the information shared during our counseling sessions will remain confidential.
Other people do not have the right or ability to gain information about you or anything
talked about during sessions unless you sign a consent to release form.
