The Office of General Counsel provides
legal services and legal advice to Texas Southern University regents and to
administrators, faculty and staff acting within the course and scope of
their employment. The Office also manages litigation and other legal
proceedings involving the University and its employees and provides
advice on legal matters. The Office cannot provide legal services or
advice to employees or students in their personal or individual
capacities. We have developed
this web site so that the Texas Southern University community may become
more familiar with our office and its functions and operations. We also
want to inform members of the Texas Southern University community about
legal issues of importance in their role as administrators, faculty or
staff. You are invited and encouraged to contact our office for
assistance on matters affecting the University.
