Former Miss TSU named Miss Black U.S. Ambassador for D.C.
Jesse H. Jones School of Business alumna Marinda Frugé has been elected to represent the District of Columbia in the Miss Black U.S. Ambassador Program. Frugé will be competing in the national pageant July 3-9 in Oklahoma City.
Frugé, a Houston native, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in accounting in 2014. She is the former Miss Texas Southern University (2013-2014). Frugé was a Business and Honors College Scholar and Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) fellow. Frugé resides in D.C. and is a business strategy consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. She plans to attend graduate school and pursue a dual J.D./M.B.A. Frugé is dedicated to community service through her platform that cultivates minority and female leadership, and promotes physical and mental health in minority women.
