Homecoming message from President Lane

Dear Alumni and Friends,

It is my honor to welcome you back to Texas Southern University and this year’s 2016 Homecoming celebration, ReMember the Times. Coming “home” is an important part of your life as a TSU Tiger. I am a proud HBCU graduate and understand the necessity of reconnecting with your beloved alma mater.

Homecoming will reunite alumni with classmates and friends to reminisce and revitalize their ties to Texas Southern. I invite you to join us for a week of festivities that will offer something for everyone. Here are just a few events of special interest to alumni:

 An Alumni Welcome Reception that will recognize Chapter of the Year, Life Members, and classes from a range of decades, is set for 7 p.m., Thursday, October 20, in the Tiger Room on campus.

 The TSU National Alumni Association will host an informative General Body Meeting, 9:30 a.m., Friday, October 21, in the Tiger Room. For more information call the Office of Alumni Relations at 713-313-1363.
