The Honorable Justin J. Lee (Beaumont, Texas)

 

Justin J LeeStudent Regent Justin J. Lee, a graduate of Central Medical Magnet High School in Beaumont, Texas, is a Communication major who will be entering his senior year during the fall 2017 semester. Lee is the former TSU Student Government Association president serving as a liaison between students and University administrators. Prior to ascending to the SGA presidency, Lee held the office of Executive Secretary and Senator of the University Academic Village. In that position, Lee ensured that the issues of residential, international, commuter and weekend students were addressed. Moreover, Lee has volunteered his time and talents to becoming a mentor and tutor for area high school students through TSU’s University Ambassador program.

 

A brief listing of Lee’s awards and achievements includes the following: President’s Advisory Committee; National Honor Society inductee; Gift of Life Youth Council; Academic Honor Student; and Future Leaders. Lee brings with him to Board a strong work ethic as evidenced on his work as an organizer in the University’s Women’s Resource Center and student aide in the Division of Finance and Administration.
