Business.USA.gov A "one-stop shop for everything related to business in the USA," managed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in a partnership with 21 other federal agencies.
Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – Serves as the primary online communication channel for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Provides health and safety information.
DOE Green Energy – Portal which includes information about various forms of green energy including solar, bio-energy, wind and others and is provided by the U. S. Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information.
Drug Information Portal – Provides drug information from the U. S. National Library of Medicine and other key U. S. government agencies.
Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) – Provides access to bibliographic records and full text of journal articles and other education-related materials.
Energy Citations Database – Provides access to science research citations and documents made publicly available by the U. S. Department of Energy.
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) – Contains full-text and abstracts of articles on housing and community development issues.
Information Bridge: DOE Scientific and Technical Information – Contains bibliographic citations and full-text documents from 1991- forward of the Department of Energy (DOE) research report literature.
National Cancer Institute (NCI) – Provides information on cancer research and training. The NCI is part of the National Institutes of Health.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) – Provide information on data related to education in the United States and other nations. This includes statistics on the condition of American education and accurate indicators of education status and trends.
National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) Library Abstracts Database --- Contains summaries of criminal justice, juvenile justice, and substance abuse resources housed in the NCJRS Library. Links to online documents are included in the full abstract record and appear on the search results page.
National Library of Medicine Databases and Electronic Resources (NLM) --Provides information and research in all areas of biomedicine and healthcare. The NLM is the world’s largest medical library.
Transportation Research Information Services and International Transport Research Documentation Database (TRID) – An integrated database that combines the records the Transportation Research Boards’ Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) Joint Transport Research Centre’s International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) Database. It provides access to records of transportation research worldwide.
U. S. Patents Full-Text Databases – Provides full text and image of all patents granted since 1976, and patent numbers, issue dates, and US classification for patents granted from 1790 through 1975.
Catalog of U.S. Government Publications – Provides descriptive records for federal publications which contain direct links to those publications that are available online.
Consumer Action Website – Maintained and updated by the Federal Citizen Information Center and provides consumer information online and through publications listed in the Catalog. The Consumer Action Handbook is available from this site in PDF and html formats.
Data.gov – Provides descriptions of the Federal datasets, information on how they are accessed, and tools that leverage government datasets.

Geodata.gov – A Geographic Information System (GIS) portal. This site provides access to geospatial information.
Google U.S. Government Search – A search engine for connecting to federal, state, and local government information.
Healthfinder.gov – Managed by the US Department of Health and Human Services and provides the latest health news and wellness information on the Internet including an encyclopedia of health topics, location of services and information, and interactive personal health tools.
The Library of Congress Thomas – Federal legislative information including bills, resolutions, Congressional Record,
committee information, treaties, presidential nominations, and more.
Metalib GPO – Searches multiple U.S. federal government databases. It is provided as a service of the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications.
National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) – A federally funded resource providing justice and substance abuse information and hosts the NCJRS Abstracts Database.
Science.gov – Searches databases and websites from 14 federal agencies and provides authoritative U. S. government science information.
Science Accelerator – Gateway to science made available by the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), U. S. Department of Energy and includes resources from the deep web.
SciTech Connect Portal to publicly-available DOE-sponsored R & D results including technical reports, bibliographic citations, journal articles, conference papers, books, multimedia and data information. SciTech Connect is a consolidation of two core DOE search engines, the Information Bridge and the Energy Citations Database.
