JHJ alumnus, Ernestine Thrash Taylor, kicked off the University’s Alumni Campaign with a $5,000 donation for the establishment of a scholarship for a female business student and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. After a tour of the business school and a surprise visit to classrooms where she shared her knowledge with future alums, Mrs. Taylor had lunch with members of the JHJ faculty and staff .Later that night she presented her gift at the President’s Alumni Mixer.

Mrs. Taylor is the Assistant Administrative Officer at the Ford Foundation and is President/CEO of ET Consulting, a leadership development and executive coaching organization. In addition, to being an entrepreneur, she is an Adjunct Professor at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC.
