Community leaders and alumni of the Jesse H. Jones School of Business (JHJ) at Texas Southern University gathered in September for an open house, alumni recognition program and the announcement of the School’s 50th Anniversary celebration in 2005.

The Honorable J. Paul Johnson, Chairman of Texas Southern University Board of Regents, and over 100 guests including 60 distinguished alumni were on hand to congratulate Dean Joseph Boyd, Ph.D. as he unveiled the special logo for a series of events slated to commemorate this significant milestone.

“Half a century of producing leaders is a noble reason for celebration,” says Boyd. “In conjunction with this 50th anniversary, we will recognize and honor outstanding School of Business alumni. These men and women exhibit the qualities of excellence and continue to uphold the School’s legacy as products of this grand institution. Great promise and the potential for even greater triumph and achievement lie ahead.” The School also announced the JHJ Alumni Golden Holiday Celebration at the Groovy Grill Mansion on December 3, 2004.
