It’s that time of year again when the Jesse H. Jones School of Business (JHJ) hits the links for student scholarships and fun! Our annual tournament is in its fifth year and with its growing popularity, it is sure to be exciting. That’s why we’re calling on the help of our alumni.
Every year the tournament pairs students with business professionals to expose students to executives and entrepreneurs as well as the game of golf. Funds generated from the tournament provide financial assistance for undergraduate and graduate students.
How can you help?
- Sponsor a team - Encourage your company to sponsor a team. Each sponsorship receives a team and some levels receive a hole sponsorship to advertise their company.
- Play Golf - Sign up as an individual partner or play on your company sponsored team and interact with our talented students.
- Donate In-Kind Items* -We need items for the goodie bags that we give to each golfer and we need items for the silent auction and raffle, so if your company has any promotional items (mugs, pens, canvas bags, etc.) or items that we can use in the auction or raffle (airline tickets, hotel rooms, gift certificates/cards, sporting event tickets, electronics, autographed paraphernalia, etc.) please sign-up to be an in-kind partner.
The JHJ Student-to-Professional Golf Tournament will be Friday, November 3, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. at Southwyck Golf Club. If you are interested in participating in the tournament, please contact Porscha Jackson at jacksonpr@tsu.edu or 713-313-7728 for sponsorship opportunities and additional information.
*Advertisement for your company will be provided in exchange for your donation.
