Dwayne BennDwayne Benn is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting in Houston, specializing in strategy development and performance improvement. He also brings expertise in strategic alliances, technology product management and systems integration. With nearly 20 years of experience in consulting and operating roles at multinational corporations, Mr. Benn has held leadership positions in the development and execution of numerous strategic initiatives and technology implementation projects.

Prior to A&M, he served as President of Stradian, LLC, a strategy and performance improvement consulting firm. There he was responsible for the general management and project execution with clients in construction, education, energy, healthcare and technology.Mr. Benn's consulting engagements included: corporate strategy, market assessments, organization design, resource planning, process re-design, performance measurement and management, scorecards, software selection and system implementation.

Previously, as Managing Director of Commercial Technology at Duke Energy Trading & Marketing, Mr. Benn managed strategic investments and alliances with energy trading technology companies. He also served as Director of Strategic Alliances for iVita Corporation, a web-based software and services firm. As a Manager at Compaq Computer, he defined strategy for the enterprise computing business, developed and marketed internet and ecommerce business solutions, and led the development of an online business networking and B2C commerce platform for IT professionals.

Additionally, Mr. Benn served as an Associate at A.T. Kearney, Inc., where he performed strategy and performance improvement projects for Fortune 500 companies, including the design of customer care business processes for a wireless communications provider. He also served as a senior consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), performing application development and IT management projects for clients in telecommunications and financial services.

Mr. Benn earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Columbia University and a master of business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
