Class of 1979 Frame The Future Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Information:

Kari Gray-Smith and Gary L. Davis, 1979 School of Business graduates, are pleased to present the Class of 1979 Frame the Future Scholarship opportunity to full-time sophomores, juniors, and seniors majoring in business. One (1) $2,000 academic scholarship will be awarded for the 2018-2019 academic year. The scholarship award will be distributed to recipients’ TSU student account - $1,000 in the fall semester and $1,000 in the spring semester, provided that all eligibility requirements are maintained throughout the year. This scholarship also includes one year of personal mentorship/coaching.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

 

  • Enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 semester credit hours)
  • Open to undergraduate majors in accounting, finance, management, MIS, or marketing
  • Classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior
  • Overall GPA of 3.00 or better with GPA of 3.00 or better in the major
  • Have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online or completed and filed the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) form (for Non-U.S. Citizens/Texas residents) with the Office of Financial Aid, as required of scholarship recipients by the University

 

Scholarship Application Requirements:

 

  • Official transcript from all colleges/universities attended (transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the registrar)
  • Two Letters of Recommendation from professors, employers, and/or non-relatives who can provide an evaluation of the applicant’s professional and academic performance. Letter should include the recommender’s signature, title, and contact number.
  • Professional Resume’
  • Professional Headshot (color), preferably a recent headshot
