Save the date! Thursday, November 7: JHJ Graduate Student Association Executive Lecture Series

The JHJ Graduate Student Association is hosting its annual Executive Lecture Series on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the JHJ Auditorium from 6pm-8:15pm. 

The speakers are both TSU Alumni. They are leaders in their respective fields of training/development (Deric Simmons) and finance/law (Ronald Green). Their topics will concern Managing Workplace Politics; How to Get Promoted and How to Negotiate in Corporate America.

Deric Simmons

Deric Simmons, EMBA : Global Director, Organizational Development & Learning for Precision Drilling. Deric has more than 25 years of experience in leadership development, leading effective teams, and strategic management. Deric is not only an outstanding orator, facilitator, and teacher, but he also understands current systems, methodologies, and processes that are needed to lead an engaging customer focused learning function. Deric specializes in building efficient teams and reliable business units. Deric is extremely passionate about his own personal development, the development of his direct reports, and the development of the employees in which he is committed to serving.

Ronald Green

Ronald Green, MBA, J.D.: Former CFO for the City of Houston and is currently shareholder of  Greenberg Traurig, LLP.  Greenberg Traurig, LLP focuses on public finance, P3 projects, government law and policy, corporate governance and compliance, white collar criminal defense, financial crimes, health care fraud, securities fraud, bank fraud and special investigations. As CFO of Houston, Ronald led the issuance and refinancing of more than $15.5 billion in tax exempt and $2.3 billion in taxable bonds, including more than $3.2 billion in conduit financings.
