Course Description:
There are two ways of experiencing authentic culture. One is learning the language, the other is tasting the food. In our hands-on Chinese cooking classes, you will learn how to do Chinese dishes. Each recipe is demonstrated by your chef instructors. We break up into teams, and have class for 6 times which offer 6 recipes. They are Kung Pao chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Salt peper Shrimp, Mapo Tofu and Yangzhou styled fried rice. The kitchen/classroom is large and professional. When the dishes are ready, the class sits down to enjoy the meal. Also we have an opening ceremony which is locate at student center and allow all of our students to taste the food they will learn for free.

Course Description:
Chinese Calligraphy is part of China History, it is a life experience of using a creative tool and technique ornate in silk or paper. Texas Southern University, Confucius Institute offers this classes for the general standardization of various styles in ink and wash painting. In this class you can learn the art of lines and colors!
