This certificate course is intended train individuals to be responsible for the collection of physician charges and patient data to ensure that claims are submitted to insurance carriers accurately and in the most efficient and expeditious manner. Additionally, Medical Coding Specialists determine codes for physician procedures and diagnosis. This training course also meets the identified workforce needs and provides the student with skills and/or knowledge that will be useful for their lives or careers.

Admission Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Driver License or State ID

Course Contact Hours: 180hrs + Clinical Externship

Clinical Externship hours: 160 hours

Tentative Course Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6pm-10pm (13 week course from February 5, 2013 and
ending May 23, 2013 )

Student Tuition: $1799 per Student (Book not Included)
