Youth Enrichment Program (YEP)

The 2013 YOUTH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM is a four-week comprehensive academic/recreational program designed for elementary and secondary school students. The program offers core academic courses (Reading, Math and English), as well as recreational classes designed for self-improvement. YEP provides students with specific skills designed to help reinforce their academic and social development for the next school year. All academic classes will be taught by certified teachers from the greater Houston area school districts and selected professors from TSU.

Parents and students should look forward to a fun-filled summer with the YEP Program because it:

• Provides a “jump start” for the upcoming school year.
• Strengthens academic and social skills.
• Promotes self-esteem and self improvement.

 

The program is from June 10, 2013 – July 5, 2013. All fees are due no later than the first day of class. Parents may register children in two ways: (1) click the form below and register online, or (2) visit the College of Continuing Education’s Office located in Suite B03 in the basement of the College of Education Building. The COCE’s hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

English, Math, Reading/Writing

 

Extracurricular Classes (All Grades)

Monday-Friday 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Gymnastics, Acting/Drama, Basketball, Flag Football, Debate, Karate/Taekwondo, Swimming, Radio Broadcasting, and Dance.
