Dean's Message

I am pleased to have this opportunity to welcome you to the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and I encourage you to learn more about our various degree programs. The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences celebrates over 60 years of educating and training health professionals for all America. The College continues to give Texas a competitive edge in meeting the need for a diverse health professions workforce. 

We are proud of our history in graduating 27 percent of the Black pharmacists practicing throughout the United States and we are poised to continue a legacy of excellence through our accomplishments in teaching, research, service and practice; and by producing well-prepared and critically needed graduates from ethnically diverse backgrounds that use their knowledge, skills and abilities to improve the health and welfare of communities where they live and work.
