Residency Information
The Drug Information Center of Texas Southern University offers a one year specialized residency in Drug Information designed to create a candidate capable of being an organizational leader in the development of safe and effective medication-use policies and/or processes and in the expert analysis of medication-related information.

This residency is a structured education and training experience that should mold the residents into becoming experts in searching, retrieving, analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating, biomedical literature .  Duties include but are not limited to literature searching and evaluation, formulary management, policy and procedure design, and newsletter preparation).

The residency objectives are those developed by American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.  

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
