The Barbara Jordan – Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at Texas Southern University and the University of Texas Environmental Science Institute are collaborating to present a symposium and round-table discussion on integrating Environmental Justice themes into college education and research projects. Invited speakers include Dr. Beverly Wright, Professor of Sociology and founding director of the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice at Dillard University and Dr. Robert Bullard, Dean of the Barbara Jordan – Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at Texas Southern University.
