Computer Lab Equipment Check-Out

If you want to check out some equipments such as digital camera and scanners, ask one of our friendly lab assistants. Available equipments are:

Lab Assistants

The College of Education Computer Lab Assistant position constitutes the front-line to any and all questions, concerns, and basic computing issues. Lab Assistants monitor computer equipment, assist students with basic software questions, and ultimately maintain a positive, proactive, and assistive atmosphere for COE faculty, staff, and students.

What are some of the characteristics looked for in Lab Assistants?

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Understanding of basic software suites such as MS Office, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Email, and Graphic editing applications.
  • Understanding of basic hardware issues, e.g., ejecting, copying, formatting removable media
  • Understanding of basic printing functions, e.g. how to check a print queue, add/remove a printer.
