Biology
The Department of Biology offers courses leading to:

  • B.S. Biology
  • B.S. Biology Pre-Medical Track
  • B.S. Biology Pre-Physical Therapy Track
  • B.S. Biology Pre-Dental Track
  • B.S. Biology Pre-Optometry Track
  • B.S. Biology Pre-Veterinary Track
  • M.S.  in Biology
  • A Minor in Biology is offered for students pursuing majors in other departments where the declaration of a minor is required

Chemistry
Through the Department of Chemistry, courses are offered at the undergraduate level for students pursuing the Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Chemistry, for students majoring in other disciplines wishing to pursue a minor in Chemistry, and for students in other academic areas requiring some preparation in Chemistry.

  • B.S. Chemistry
  • M.S. Chemistry
  • Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology

On the undergraduate level, two tracks leading to this degree are possible for majors:

  1. American Chemical Society (or ACS) approved track
  2. Pre-medical and pre-dental tracks

Both tracks are composite programs of study, and neither track requires the declaration of an official minor in another academic discipline. The ACS approved track is designed to prepare students for professional careers as chemists and to ensure their preparation for graduate study.

Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science offers:

  •  B.S. in Computer Science
  •  M. S. in Computer Science
  •  A Minor in Computer Science is offered for students pursuing majors in other departments where the declaration of a minor is required

Engineering Technologies
Through this instructional unit, courses are offered in the following academic disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering Technology (CIVT)
  • Electronics Engineering Technology (ELET)
  • Engineering Technology (ENGT)

The Bachelor of Science (B. S.) in Engineering Technology is offered at the undergraduate level; however, no graduate degree is offered through this unit. Cooperative Education (COE) courses are also offered through this unit. In addition, an undergraduate minor in Engineering Technology is offered for students majoring in other academic disciplines or programs where the declaration of a minor is required. Students seeking the B. S. in Engineering Technology may choose from two (2) different programs that provide for concentrated study in one of the following engineering technologies:

  • B.S. Civil Engineering Technology
  • B.S. Electronics Engineering Technology
  • B.S. Computer Engineering Technology

Industrial Technologies
The Department of Industrial Technology offers courses leading to:

  • B.S.I.T. Design Technology
  • B.S.I.T. Construction Technology
  • M. S. Industrial Technology
  • A Minor in Industrial Technology is offered for students pursuing majors in other departments where the declaration of a minor is required

Mathematics
As one of the largest instructional units in the University, the Department of Mathematics offers courses leading to the:

  • B.S.  in Mathematics
  • M.S. in Mathematics
  • Minor in Mathematics for students majoring in other academic disciplines at the University

Physics
The Department of Physics offers:
