Diversifying the Lesson for the Hard to Teach: Retention Strategies and
Academic Advising |
| Description: |
This professional development series will focus on pedagogical methods that address
learning and teaching styles. Additionally, participants will explore how delivery
styles impact student achievement. This series provides participants with skills
to differentiate instruction for 21st Century learners while also addressing the
real life academic contexts of students. Participants should expect to receive pragmatic
and research-based instructional strategies and methods that ensure academic rigor,
cultural relevance, student learning, and real life applicability are at the forefront
of curricular design.
