John Silvanus Wilson, Jr. Executive Director of the White House to Speak at TSU's May Commencement

Texas Southern University’s May 2011 graduates will have their commencement address delivered by John Silvanus Wilson, Jr., Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Saturday, May 14th at 9:30 a.m. in the Health and Physical Education Arena located on the campus of Texas Southern.

Shartajeye Wright Crowned Miss TSU 2011-2012 

Shartajeye Wright is the new Miss Texas Southern University 2011-2012. Wright is a native of Dallas, TX; a junior majoring in Biology Pre-Pharmacy with a minor in Speech Communication.
