| Dr. Michael O. Adams, Professor and Director of the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Program in the Barbara Jordan – Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs, has been invited to present a paper on the “Impact of Race, Ethnicity and Immigration on Houston’s Geopolitical and Economic Development” at the Bogazici University – National Association for Ethnic Studies Conference in Istanbul, Turkey (November 15 -17, 2006).
Dr. Michael O. Adams and Carroll Robinson, Esq. of the School of Public Affairs were set to be presenters at the 8th Annual Texas ASPA/CSM Conference at the University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. The program, held on Friday, November 10, 2006, was hosted by the South Texas Chapter of ASPA and the Texas State Certified Public Manager Program. Adams, the sponsor of the panel, and Robinson made the focus of the panel on “Can Government Be Great.”
