Training An important component of the services provided by the Office of General Counsel is teaching administrators, faculty and staff to be proactive and avoid or prevent future litigation. Accordingly, General Counsel, in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Compliance and other University departments, provides training to faculty and staff on matters that are of risk to the University, such as contract administration and employee discipline and termination. In order to assist employees who did not attend prior trainings or who would like to review issues covered in those trainings, below are training modules recently presented by General Counsel staff. Please remember that these modules are for general information purposes only and are not a substitute for legal advice from an attorney. In addition, the modules are for use only by Texas Southern University employees; any other use is not authorized. Employment Training Modules (PowerPoint)
