|
The Department of Aviation Science and Technology currently offers Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Science Management, which offers opportunities for stable employment and advancement to undergraduate students seeking a bright future. The phenomenal growth of airline service in the United States since 1978 has witnessed 247 million airline passengers grow to over half a billion. To meet current and future demands, aviation requires well-educated, highly qualified people to step into an increasingly technological world. The B.S. in Aviation Science Management is designed to prepare students for several career options: Air Traffic Control Specialist, Air Carrier Manager, Airport Manager and General Aviation Operations Manager. The regimen of courses required by the Aviation Science Management curriculum also provides students with the necessary academic foundation for pursuing graduate work. In addition to general studies requirements, the Aviation Science Management curriculum contains courses which provide each student with strong conceptual foundations in mathematics, natural sciences, computer sciences, management and aviation - all oriented to the technology of this field. The program has been accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT).
