The Impetus of World Leadership is Learning

We live in an increasingly global and complex society with an infinite technological base, characterized by a scarcity of resources. As members of this society, it is necessary for us to make personal, collective, and interdependent decisions about the allocation of these scarce resources. This allocation process requires many decisions, decisions that affect people individually and collectively and as businesses and as organizations.

 Effective world leadership demands professionals who are visionaries, capable of meeting the demands of a global and complex society. Texas Southern University is meeting this challenge through its programming of “World Leadership Today.” This leadership derives from increased participation, diversity, and knowledge of our international economic system.
