There are several different processors available for laptops. We recommend the Pentium M processor which will perform well in laptops.

We do not recommend the low performance Intel Celeron processor.

The School of Law requires Windows XP Operating System. Only the professional version of Windows XP will allow a computer to join a domain.There are wireless access points and network ports in all areas of the law school. To connect to the wireless network requires an encryption key which needs to be obtained from the support staff.

Areas Not Supported

IT does not support software or hardware that do not contribute to the academic, research, or administrative work of the University.

IT does not make physical changes to computer hardware, such as installing Ethernet network cards, additional RAM, hard drives, etc.
