Located in room 214 of the Ernest E. Sterling Student Life Center, The Office of Campus Organizations is responsible for maintaining data on all student organizations at Texas Southern University and keeping them abreast of university regulations. All student-run organizations on Texas Southern’s Campus are required to register with this office at the beginning of each academic year. An application requesting information on membership, dues, advisors, and rules must be submitted along with a fee of $40.00. Organizations wishing to register in the spring must pay a fee of $65.00. In addition to completing the registration application, representatives from each organization along with their advisors are required to attend the annual Campus Organization Workshop. The purpose of this workshop is to inform participants of university policy and procedures as well as of their responsibilities and privileges afforded them as representatives of Texas Southern University.
