The University Program Council (UPC) is the official student organization responsible for sponsoring programs/activities geared toward the general student body. With the mantra "We work our tails off for you!" as their motivation, the students of the UPC have been the driving force behind organizing some of the most entertaining and enlightening events at TSU for the past 20 years. TSU students regularly look forward to trademark events such as the "Fun Bus" to away games and "Spring Festival" throughout the academic year.
Other events sponsored by the University Program Council include:
- Lectures
- Movie Nights
- Spiritual Awareness events
- Contests
- Conferences
- Socials
- Novelty events (e.g., hypnotists) . . .And anything else students can conjure up!
UPC is open to membership throughout the academic year. All TSU students (part-time or full-time) are invited to join and participate in the planning/implementation of social, cultural, and educational events. UPC members are not only exposed to unique experiences (e.g., working with a wide variety of professional entertainers and educators), they have the opportunity to hone basic organizational skills as well as make long-lasting friendships.
