Yes, if a student does not meet one or more of the TSIA2 Exemptions, the State of Texas requires all students entering a public college or university to complete the assessment in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. 

No, however, if your cut score falls below the minimum requirement, you have the option to retest.

Please provide TSU written consent to obtain your scores by submitting the following link. TSIA2 scores are only good for 5 years. You also be asked to provide a copy of your photo ID for your security. 

The complete TSIA2 (Reading, Writing, Essay and Math) cost $30.00. If only required to take one (1) part, it is $15.00.

Once your Transcript(s) are evaluated, the Office of Admissions, your Academic Advisor and / or the UTC Team can verify which TSIA2 section(s) are needed before scheduling.

The State of Texas requires that each tester to complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) before they can schedule to take the TSIA2. The UTC team will verify completion of the PAA before issuing a Voucher Code for testing.
