TSU Online Learning Summit

The Office of Academic Affairs will host the TSU Online Learning Summit from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 15, for Texas Southern University faculty and staff members. During the summit, speakers will provide engaging and exciting presentations designed to provide support for faculty in the online learning environment. Each session will be 30 minutes in length with 15 minutes of question and answers time after each presentation.

Presentation speakers include:

  • Charlene Stubblefield, executive director of the Center for Instructional Innovation and Technology Services at Prairie View A&M University and president-elect of the Texas Distance Learning Association
  • Dr. Courtney Flowers, associate professor of Sport Management in the Department of Health, Kinesiology, & Sport Studies, assessment coordinator for the College of Education, and graduate admissions advisor HKSS at Texas Southern University
  • Debra Vick, associate professor of Business at Lone Star College
  • Dr. Katie Alaniz, assistant professor of Education, director of Online Learning and Professional Development, program coordinator for the Master of Science in Learning, Technology, and Design program, and the Online Ed.D. in Executive Educational Leadership program in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Houston Baptist University
  • Dr. Daniel Villanueva, associate vice president for Enrollment Management at the University of Houston-Downtown
