About the Play
Brothers, Sisters, Husbands, and Wives (The Cariocas) is a spirited comedy-drama by Celeste Bedford-Walker, directed by TSU Theatre alumna Delisa Chatman, that follows a fractured Afro-Brazilian American family whose weekend reunion unravels secrets, rivalries, and desires that test the ties that bind them.

Paid parking is available in the East Garage (Cleburne St. & Tierwester St.). Lot C is closed and inaccessible to vehicles and pedestrians.
Wine In The Wilderness

SYNOPSIS
Set during the 1964 Harlem race riots, the play follows an artist whose search for a model sparks a clash of class, identity, and dignity—challenging society’s notions of beauty and the Black experience.
