This year our wonderful Texas Southern University theatre program students will be performing a series of shows starting with our season opener - Wine in the Wilderness.This is the Season of Women

Attic Grace

TSU Theatre presents the World Premiere of Attic Grace, a play by Distinguished Professor of Theatre, Elizabeth Brown-Guillory, directed by Distinguished Theatre Alum, Errol Anthony Wilks.
About the Play
Attic Grace explores the deep and lasting bonds shared between life-long friends who know each other too well as they stumble from platonic certainty into romantic uncertainty. Set in an attic, filled with dust, memory, and possibility, the inseparable friends come to recognize that it is by grace that they can find healing and the courage to step forward together.

About the Play
Brothers, Sisters, Husbands, and Wives (The Cariocas) is a spirited comedy-drama by Celeste Bedford-Walker, directed by TSU Theatre alumna Delisa Chatman, that follows a fractured Afro-Brazilian American family whose weekend reunion unravels secrets, rivalries, and desires that test the ties that bind them.

Wine In The Wilderness

SYNOPSIS
Set during the 1964 Harlem race riots, the play follows an artist whose search for a model sparks a clash of class, identity, and dignity—challenging society’s notions of beauty and the Black experience.
