Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education
The Office of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is responsible for the administration
of CPE Programs for students, faculty, preceptor faculty, and alumni to help foster
professional development.
The programs provided are made available to healthcare professionals practicing in
any COPHS program targeting those who practice in hospital, clinical and community
settings.
The Office of Continuing Professional Education programs are accredited by the American
Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education;
by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program; Continuing Respiratory
Care Education (CRCE) by the American Association for Respiratory Care; and the National
Environmental Health Association (NEHA).
The office is headed by an Administrator of Continuing Education with administrative
support personnel. Oversight is provided by the COPHS Committee for Continuing Professional
Education.
