Reserve Collaborative Study Spaces: 

  • Select a floor location
  • Select an available space by clicking in the green box
  • Enter your information
  • Confirm
  • Email confirmation is sent to your TSU email

The Collaborative Study Spaces are located on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the Library Learning Center.  These spaces are intended for the use of two or more individuals.  Individual Study Spaces are located on the 5th floor and do not require a reservation.

Collaborative Study Spaces Policy:

  • A valid Texas Southern University T-number is required to reserve a room.
  • At least 2 people of a group are required to occupy the room.
  • Rooms may be reserved a maximum of two hours per day. (During the Summer Sessions rooms may be reserved a maximum of 4 hours per day.)
  • Keys are available at the Welcome Desk if rooms are locked upon arrival
  • Reserved rooms are held for up to 15 minutes after the beginning of the reservation. After this period, reservations may be canceled to make room for another group.
  •  Only covered beverages and dry, non-perishable snacks are allowed in the study rooms.
  • The room must be left in order.  Trash should be removed or placed in trash containers. If tables and chairs are moved, they are to be put back the as found.

Library Technology

KIC Bookeye Scanner

2 KIC Bookeye Scanners are available in the library. 

  • Step-by-step directions are on the scanner screen.
  • Pages can be scanned flat or in a V-cradle mode (less strain on the spine)
  • Documents can be saved in several formats (e.g, pdf, jpeg, and png)
  • Handles materials up to 17 x 24 inches, scans in black & white, grayscale or color. Scans from 100 to 600 dpi resolution
  • Saves to USB flash drives or sends to email accounts

Printing

Printers are available in the Computer Lab on the 3rd and 4th floor.
