TSU Testing FAQ

Admitted TSU students may log into the MyTSUWeb portal for Current Students to review their TSI scores. TSI scores will be provided under the “Students” tab under “Test Scores”

If you are unable with your scores, you may retake the TSI Assessment. Additional fees will apply for each TSI exam. Please contact the Testing Center for testing dates.

The TSI Assessment includes mathematics, Reading, Writing and an Essay

We recommend that you take the TSI exam during your senior year in high school or during the summer prior to your enrollment to TSU. The TSI scores are needed to start registration services.

The TSI Assessment is $30 at TSU ($15 for individual sections). The cost for the assessment will differ by institution.

TSI scores may be emailed to tsi@tsu.edu 

Scheduling to take the TSI exam may be completed online.

All students planning to take the TSI exam are required to take the Pre-Assessment Activity online.
