I am very grateful to begin my journey by joining the faculty within the Administration of Justice Department- Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs. In 2011, I served as an adjunct professor within the Administration of Justice Program at Texas Southern University. Subsequently, I received an appointment as an assistant professor within the Lee P. Brown Institute at Wiley College from 2012-2013. Afterward, I returned to Prairie View A&M University to serve as an adjunct professor within the College of Juvenile Justice & Psychology form 2013-2018. Most important, I served within the Waller County ISD, as well as, the YES PREP charter schools, Houston, Texas. I am a lifelong learner, a scholar on the rise, and an exceptional college professor. My motto is: Keep your head to the stars. Dream and think big, yet be of service to the institution and community.
