Professional Biography
Dr. Henry North earned his B.S. degree in Physics, M.S. degree in Mathematics and M.A. degree in Counseling from Texas Southern University and earned his Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was a fellow in Urban Educational Administration. Dr. North holds certification or licensure as an all level Administrator, Supervisor, Counselor, and in Physics and Mathematics.
Dr. North has served as a dissertation advisor to numerous educational administration students seeking the Doctor of Education Degree. He is a published scholar and a frequent lecturer, speaker, consultant to local and national educational enterprises, and contributor to radio programs and newspapers. He is a member of several professional organizations and is formerly President of the Texas Association of College Teachers — and Vice President of the American Association for University Professors —TSU Chapters, respectively.
