Undergraduate Major in General Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in General Studies offers a broad interdisciplinary program that can be tailored to match a wide variety of educational and professional goals of students. Those pursuing a B.A. in General Studies are strongly encouraged to consult with an advisor to formulate a coherent and professionally practical program for this major. The specialty within the General Studies major is a focus (concentration) area agreed upon by the student and advisor. Fifteen (15) credits must be at the 300 and 400 level and courses may be taken in more than one department to fulfill the specialty component. Students must obtain a grade of "C" or better in all major and specialty courses.
