Steps to Enrolling for the Spring 2026 Semester

  1. Sign in to your MyTSU

    Student Portal 

  2. Confirm to attend TSU.

    Check your MyTSU email.

  3. Review and submit meningitis vaccination*

    Vaccination Information

  4. TSI Assessment Exam**

    Take the TSI Assessment Exam** or submit scores or exemption criteria - www.tsu.edu/tsi

  5. Need Campus Housing?

    Apply for campus housing - www.tsu.edu/housing

  6. Financial Aid

    Submit your FAFSA (TSU School Code 003642) and review your financial aid award status (if applicable) in the MyTSU portal 

  7. Advising

    Meet with your academic adviser 

  8. Register for classes

    Register for classes in the MyTSU portal - Academic Advisors  

  9. Financial Acknowledgement

    Sign Financial Acknowledgement Form in MyTSU portal 

  10. New Student Orientation

    Attend a New Student Orientation session. 

  11. Pay Tuition and Fees

    Pay your tuition and fee bill in your MyTSU portal - Student Accounting 

  12. FERPA Release Form

    Review the How to complete FERPA Release Form  

 

* The meningitis vaccination is required for all students planning to live on campus or are under the age of 22.
