Unlock Your Future with the TMCF SOAR Scholar Program at TSU
Texas Southern University’s TMCF SOAR Scholar Program offers high-achieving high school juniors (rising seniors) a FREE, one-week residential experience in June. Participants will explore HBCU institutions, college admissions, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities, while also discovering career pathways and academic programs.

- Program Dates: June 8 - 13, 2025
- Eligibility: Current high school juniors (Class of 2026) with a Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Eligible students must participate in the program during the summer before their senior year.

- To Apply, Applicants Must Submit the Following with the Online Application:

- Academic information, including official high school transcript, ACT/SAT scores (if taken)
- Evidence of school involvement (clubs, organizations and activities)
- (1) recommendation letter from a teacher or counselor
- (2) short essay questions:
- What do you hope to learns and/or accomplish as a participant in the program?
- What is motivating you to pursue education at a collegiate level?
